Find the Right Steering Gear
Steering gears are application-specific, so identifying the correct replacement requires more than simply knowing the truck make and model. The steering gear model, casting number, stamped identification, configuration, number of ports and other specifications may be required to select the correct replacement.
For example, Sheppard identifies its steering gears using a combination of the basic model number cast into the housing and the stamped sub-model/serial information.
